This sectorial panel establishes the criteria for environmental declarations for ceramic products, such as bricks and tiles
AENOR is the Administrator of the GlobalEPD Programme for verifying environmental product declarations (EPD), in accordance with Standards ISO 14025 and EN 15804.
In the event there are no Product Category Rules (PCR) for a family of products, AENOR sets up panels of representatives from within the industry (associations, manufacturers and customers, etc.) in conjunction with laboratories, Public Administrations and other interested parties.
The panel for baked clay products covers tiles and auxiliary parts, baked clay pieces and accessories for protected masonry, baked clay pieces and accessories for unprotected masonry, paving stones and baked clay accessories, hollow bricks and baked clay panels and ceramic panels.
