Courses on data protection

In an increasingly digital world, data protection has become one of the greatest challenges in business management. The LOPD and GDPR of 2018 are complex mechanisms tasked with ensuring the security of the thousands of pieces of data that are processed as part of the daily activity in any sector of the economy. The almost 3.5 million companies registered in Spain require specific services to securely manage information, and data protection courses are the first step on the road to a career with a great outlook.

Data protection training

AENOR's data protection courses are arranged into different specialisation categories in order to offer the most comprehensive training in the sector. Apart from specific courses on data protection systems laws, analysis and evaluation, AENOR has its own certification. Having a Data Protection Officer (DPO) is an investment in reliability and trust, both for the companies that need to incorporate this figure into their organisations, and for the professionals who wish to offer a certified service.

This training is tailored to different levels of specialisation. From the basic principles of the data protection regulations or the operational knowledge to manage data correctly, to advanced training for DPO certification. As a whole, the data protection training offered by AENOR is structured around the following categories: DPO training (AENOR certification), ISO/IEC 27701:2019, course on the European data protection law, practical workshop on risk analysis and impact assessment in the application of the GDPR, and everything involved in adapting to the National Security Scheme (ENS).

The in-person classes and live (virtual) training cover all the training needs of the participants for the duration of the courses. These data protection courses rely on the latest technology for students to follow the classes and analyse the content properly, with an emphasis on practical cases and the most up-to-date information.

This training in data protection is aimed at professionals with or without experience in tasks related to data protection management, at data enforcement managers, at university graduates with less than two years of experience (in the case of the Aenor certification) and, in general, at anyone who is interested in this specific area of security.
