    AENOR Accreditations and acknowledgements

AENOR undergoes more than 100 annual audit and supervision sessions.

Rigour in procedures
  • Have your own legal personality and full capacity to act in order to meet your goals, through your specific departments, in accordance with the applicable legal provisions and their regulations.
  • A Quality Management System is implemented and documented, based on process management, and meets applicable international standards such as ISO/IEC 17021-1, ISO/IEC 17065, etc.
  • It has established procedures for granting, maintaining, expanding, suspending and withdrawing certification and inspections; and it exercises control over the ownership, use, and publication of licenses, certificates, and compliance marks.

Major professional body
  • It has competent staff for all sectors in which it develops the inspection and certification activities, always complying with any applicable international accreditation requirements or regulatory requirements.
  • It demands that all staff, subcontractors or collaborators involved in certification or inspection undertake a series of confidentiality, independence and impartiality commitments, and guarantee also that they have no link whatsoever to the evaluations in which they participate.

Plastic product certification (SANAS)

AENOR has SANAS accreditation (South African National Accreditation System) to certify, in accordance with South African Standards (SANS) for Plastic and Rubber Products (EAC 14)

Spanish national security system (ENS)

AENOR receives ENAC accreditation for the certification of conformity with the National Security Scheme (ENS), for the certification of processes for protecting information and services, in accordance with RD 3/2010, which governs the National Security Scheme in the field of Electronic Administration.

APRIL 2017

Reliable service providers for electronic transactions (eIDAS)

AENOR receives ENAC accreditation for the certification of Trusted Service Providers for Electronic Transactions, in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 (eIDAS).
