This industry panel establishes the criteria for Environmental Product Declarations for gypsum-based products for use in construction, such as laminated gypsum boards, plasterboards, and gypsum powder
AENOR is the Administrator of the GlobalEPD Programme for verifying environmental product declarations (EPD), in accordance with Standards ISO 14025 and EN 15804.
The panel for gypsum-based products for construction covers the following product families:
Gypsum powder products (bulk and bagged products), which includes the different types of gypsum, plaster, adhesives, and gypsum-based mortar available on the market for manual or mechanical use
Laminated gypsum boards, namely, the products covered by the European Standard UNE-EN 520 and their possible derivatives, such as products transformed with heat and sound insulation, laminated gypsum boards produced from secondary processes, and gypsum sandwich boards.
Prefabricated products, including gypsum boards for partitions, plasterboards for continuous and detachable ceilings, and fibre-reinforced plasterboards
