25 March 2021. The Tello Alimentación Group goes one step further in its commitment to protect the health and safety of its workers, customers and consumers during the current epidemic situation, obtaining the certificate AENOR that guarantees compliance with all the protocols against COVID-19 established and updated by the company since the start of the pandemic.

From the start of the health crisis, the Tello Group implemented a series of measures as part of a complete contingency plan that ensured the continuity of its activity by establishing a series of protocols against COVID-19 intended to protect the safety of its workers in all areas and processes of the company.

Now, AENOR has audited and endorsed the proper implementation of its strict internal protocols against COVID-19 in terms of workplace safety, and of the guidelines set out nationally and internationally by competent authorities.

Information, training and constantly updating its protocols has been a priority in order to properly implement the organization's hygiene and technical measures, such as capacity and distancing controls, use of PPE, best cleanliness and hygiene practices, daily temperature checks and more. In addition to giving correct information to its workers, the control and surveillance in all areas of the company were essential to ensuring the health, safety and well-being of its extensive workforce.

At the event held to mark the presentation of the certificate, AENOR's director for Castilla-La Mancha and Extremadura, Antonio Contreras stated that "the Tello Group has demonstrated that its commitment to serve society is at the forefront of its considerations, consistent with its position. The company's responsible and now duly certified protocols are boosting the confidence necessary for the food sector to quickly recover its important contribution to society and the economy".

Attending from the Tello Group were Director of Quality, Elena Robles, and Occupational Risk Prevention Officer, Fernando Torres, who expressed their satisfaction at obtaining the AENOR COVID-19 protocol certification "since it will assist in the return to normality and the path towards economic recovery. Furthermore, this certificate joins the list of other quality and food safety marks held by the group, including IFS and Animal Welfare, which aim to convey our commitment to society to all our customers and consumers", explained Elena Robles.
