Conformity verification

These storage systems are considered work equipment and, as such, fall under its legislative and regulatory umbrella. Companies must take the necessary measures so that, through appropriate maintenance, the shelves can uphold satisfactory safety conditions throughout their useful life.

AENOR inspects Storage Systems in accordance with European Standard EN 15635 Steel static storage systems. 

As a result of the increasingly ingrained culture of quality in the economic fabric, there is greater demand to carry out inspections (based on Royal Decree 1215/1997) that make it possible to understand and improve existing security in the different installations.

The testing of work equipment is regulated in Spain by RD 1215/1997, of 18 July, which establishes the minimum health and safety provisions for the use of work equipment by workers, including any machinery, apparatus or instrument used at work. The AENOR Report or certification can be requested at any time by the Labour Inspectorate from the owner of the installation.

• Customer requirements:
  The client defines its needs: type of service, product, location, scope, aspects to consider, etc.
• Service design:
  In collaboration with the customer, AENOR defines the control programme to use and designs the process, checklists, service instructions, sampling, testing, requirements, etc. A technical coordinator at AENOR is in direct contact with the client throughout the entire service.
• Service coordination:
  The AENOR team of inspectors/auditors coordinates the inspection/verification with the contact provided by the customer.
• Service provision:
  The service is provided by qualified personnel on the agreed date and time.
• Results report:
  After the inspection/verification iscomplete, the customer receives a complete report detailing the results, including a complete photographic report.
