The AENOR N Mark for these structural elements certifies products' conformity with applicable standards
AENOR product certificates provides added value to structural elements used to transport and distribute electricity. It is a certification recognised by electric companies, and is also recognised in multiple countries
The N Mark is a symbol of the product quality and safety, backed by an independent third-party leader in certification. The AENOR N Mark is recognised by public and private customers, facilitating the sales of thousands of certified products around the world.
The N certification is not mandatory; the manufacturer or distributor voluntarily submits their product to a full examination by independent organisms and specialists in order to objectively ensure that it complies with the established quality and safety requirements. The N Mark is therefore more demanding than the basic and mandatory CE Mark requirements.
AENOR certification is the benchmark for these products within the national market.
Products awarded this mark are subjected to various assessments and controls in order to check they comply with the corresponding standards and the particular certification system developed by AENOR for each product.
The main certified products are: lattice pylons, tubular pylons, concrete posts, ironworks and clamps, all types of insulators, glass fibre reinforced posts and anti-electrocution protection linings for birds.
