AENOR launches the Sustainable N Mark, an evolution of the historic, renowned N Mark that now raises the commitment of products with a social, environmental and governance approach.
The AENOR N Sustainable Mark makes it possible to study these companies' sustainability performance over time, since it is renewed every year, which motivates them to improve constantly In addition, it will be a key element in the process of manufacturers adapting to the guidelines of European strategies in terms of sustainability, and it is in line with the requirements for accessing European Funds.
This new mark reinforces AENOR's strategic commitment towards the renowned N quality mark for products, which already distinguishes more than 100,000 products in 53 countries. Now, it also recognises sustainability factors by analysing products from the industry and construction sectors against 20 indicators.
After completing the certification process, the result is a numerical index that represents the manufacturer's sustainable commitment in a clear and comparable manner. In addition, this index also allows studying its performance over time, as it is renewed every year, and fosters a continuous improvement effort.
