23/07/2018

  • This has been awarded in recognition and evidence of the Federation's management system's compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 Standard.

23 July 2018. Following an external audit carried out by AENOR, the Spanish Federation of Healthcare Technology Companies, Fenin, has been awarded the quality certificate in compliance with ISO 9001:2015, in recognition and evidence of the company's management system's compliance with this Standard.

The certificate, which was handed over by Jesús Gómez-Salomé, AENOR's Communications and Trademark Director, to Fenin's general secretary, Margarita Alfonsel, illustrates Fenin's commitment to achieving and maintaining high levels of satisfaction among our member companies, as well as conducting our work in a working environment that guarantees continuous improvement.

The audit has included all the activities undertaken by the Federation in its daily work, such as institutional relations services, legal aid, regulatory technician services, the environment and those with regard to corporate social responsibility.

Similarly, AENOR verified the actions performed at the Debt Observatory, communication, studies and market analysis, training and support to internationalisation.

Margarita Alfonsel, Fenin's general secretary, affirmed that obtaining the ISO 9001 quality certificate awarded to us by AENOR after several months of work by the entire Federation's team, " certifies that in addition to complying with the established requirements, we have implemented a management system aimed at achieving excellence in customer service through efficiency, quality and continuous improvement, which at the same time obliges us to maintain and improve these standards of quality".

Likewise, the general secretary emphasized that "thanks to the enormous effort, dedication, commitment and enthusiasm of the Federation's entire internal team, we have achieved what we set out to do, and this certificate will help us to improve our procedures and work more efficiently and it will be the responsibility of all of us to keep up the quality level shown by us".

For Jesús Gómez-Salomé, AENOR's Communications and Trademark Director, "FENIN plays a key role in supporting companies in the sector and the implementation and certification according to UNE-EN ISO 9001 will boost its ability to render services. The health sector as a whole is very sensitive to quality policies, as shown by over 1,300 AENOR certificates in force in organizations ranging from production centres to hospitals.
