Agreement between AENOR and Centro Cerámico do Brasil (Brazil Ceramics Centre) to promote exports

Brazil is the world's second largest manufacturer of ceramics, with a share of 7.3%.

• Through this alliance, AENOR will issue certificates to ceramic tile manufacturers in Brazil, allowing them to take their products to other countries such as Ecuador and Saudi Arabia. Brazil Ceramics Centre will carry out inspections and testing.

• The agreement is part of AENOR's work to help organisations open up new markets for their products. The Company is currently authorised to issue compliance certificates in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Ecuador, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Armenia, among others. The company has already carried out 5,500 goods inspections.
