La legislación en materia de seguridad y salud vigente en España es muy numerosa y con frecuencia se aprueban nuevas normas; este curso ayuda a las personas sin conocimientos a familiarizarse con ella y saber dónde buscar cuando lo necesiten. Se lleva a cabo de modo muy interactivo, práctico, crítico y lleno de casos reales, que se presentan tanto por el docente como por los alumnos, resolviéndose de este modo, dudas y aportándose soluciones para el cumplimiento legal.
Intended for
Junior prevention technicians and professionals with competences in occupational health and safety management with little or no knowledge of legal matters, as well as anyone interested in acquiring training in this area.

Objectives
- Become familiar with occupational health and safety legislation at different levels: international, European, Spanish, regional and local
- Learn the requirements of management systems with regard to legislation and identify the legal requirements for applying them
- Be familiar with applicable sector-specific regulations
- Understand the mechanisms for civil, administrative and criminal liability
Content
- Introduction to the legal framework for occupational health and safety and Act 31/1995 on Occupational Risk Prevention
- Analysis and interpretation of the requirements of the following legal texts:
o Royal Decree 39/1997 approving the Regulations for Prevention Services. Amended in Royal Decree 780/1998 and Royal Decree 604/2006
o Act 54/2003, on the reform of the regulatory framework for occupational risk prevention.
o Royal Decree 171/2004, which implements Article 24 of Act 31/1995 on ORP with regard to the coordination of business activities.
o Royal Decree 773/1997 on minimum requirements regarding the use of personal protective equipment by workers.
- Analysis and interpretation of the requirements of Royal Decree 486/1997 on minimum health and safety requirements in the workplace.
- Relationship between Royal Decree 486/1997 and the following regulations:
o Regulations on electric devices (high- and low-voltage electrical installations).
o Fire prevention regulations.
o Emergency regulations.
o Solution of queries regarding other specific regulations of interest to students (applicable regulations, general content, interpretation, etc.), such as noise, thermal stress, biological hazards, chemical hazards, vibrations, ATEX, construction, signage, etc.
o Royal Decree 1215/1997, of 18 July, which lays out the minimum health and safety requirements for workers to use equipment, and Royal Decree 2177/2004, which amends Royal Decree 1215/1997

The course is taught on an online training platform where the teacher and students meet and interact in a Virtual Classroom throughout the training period.
During the duration of the course, the teacher presents the subject by videoconference, with practical examples and taking into account the students' queries and questions. The teacher combines theoretical sessions with collaborative exercises in work teams, which guarantees learning and knowledge acquisition, in a manner similar to face-to-face training.
