En mayo de 2022 se publicó la versión 3.0 del Reglamento General para la Certificación de Bienestar Animal Welfair®. Este documento, publicado por el Instituto de Investigación y Tecnología Agroalimentaria de Cataluña (IRTA), introdujo una serie de cambios con objeto de mejorar el proceso de certificación.
Uno de cambios ha sido la formación obligatoria para los operadores responsables y los auditores internos en el caso de multisite. El objeto es alinear los resultados de las auditorías internas de los Protocolos Welfair® con las auditorías de certificación.
Esta formación, avalada por IRTA, está adaptada a cada especie incluida en el esquema de certificación e impartida por auditores de certificación con la calificación necesaria para cada curso.
AENOR dispone de auditores calificados con amplia experiencia en auditorías y con capacidad docente para impartir cursos adaptados a las diferentes especies.
