Veolia certifies all its companies in Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula

The certificate was presented by Rafael García Meiro, CEO of AENOR of Anti-bribery Management System certificate, according to the UNE-ISO 37001, to all the Veolia companies in Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula It is the international standard for organisations that want to implement an effective organisational and management model for anti-bribery and anti-corruption.

Veolia is a company dedicated to optimised resource management; among other areas, it specialises in integrated water cycle management, focusing on the production and distribution of drinking water and the purification of waste water. They also opt for renewable energies.

Among other benefits, the Anti-bribery Management System certificate helps organisations detect, prevent and properly manage potential criminal conduct involving bribery by proving compliance with legislation and other voluntary commitments. This contributes to creating a culture of integrity and transparency among organisations and to improving their reputation. This new business tool is designed to reduce the risks of an organisation's operations throughout its value chain.

Veolia also holds the certificates of Quality Management System, according to the ISO 9001; the Environmental Management System, according to the ISO 14001; and Energy Efficiency System, according to the ISO 50001.
