AENOR has awarded the certificate of Sustainable N Mark to the UNIDOORS San Leonardo (Soria) factory, formerly known as NORMA, thus becoming the first wood door manufacturing company to obtain this certification.
For Grupo UNIDOORS, this new certification helps it stand out in the market. For two years, the group has had an Environmental Department that has promoted measures to improve the efficiency of industrial processes and raises awareness among workers about the importance of sustainability.
The NS Sostenible certification confirms the commitment of UNIDOORS to an ESG (environmental, social and governance criteria) approach. The San Leonardo de Yagüe plant has chain of custody certificates, uses solar energy for self-consumption and actively participates in rural social, cultural and sports initiatives.
The certification Sustainable N Mark companies request it voluntarily and submit the products to a thorough examination in order to certify the performance characteristics of their construction materials.
Obtaining this certification represents a step forward in the consolidation of sustainability as one of the strategic pillars at Grupo UNIDOORS.
