Transinsa, the first company to obtain the COVID-19 Workplace Health and Safety certificate

30/03/2021

AENOR has granted certification of COVID-19 Workplace Health and Safety to TRANSINSA, Ambulancias de Asturias, making it the first company in the world to obtain this certification.

Based on UNE-ISO/PAS 45005, this certificate is an international standard that was introduced by ISO at the end of December to provide an international response to the pandemic, and it is linked to ISO 45001 on Occupational Health and Safety. This new standard has been developed by ISO with an emphasis on the workplace, providing general guidelines for all types of work centres. It provides useful support for the continuous improvement of measures for tackling the pandemic, widening the scope to areas such as emotional health and wellness or inclusivity.

This certification is part of the solutions portfolio of the   Trusted Platform "Overcoming COVID-19", together with other products such as the certification of "Protocols against COVID-19," hygienic mask certificates, certificates that identify cleaning and disinfection companies with controlled sanitization processes, certifications from specific sectors such as the tourism sector, live online training or COVID-19 laboratory analysis on surfaces, among others. AENOR provides all these solutions through a global network of professionals specialized in each of the areas.
