The 2nd Industria Conectada 4.0 Conference was held recently, organised by the Ministry's General Secretariat for Industry and the Spanish Quality Association (AEC), with the collaboration of AENOR, as well as other organisations. The conference was inaugurated by His Majesty the King, Felipe VI, and included participation by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism, Reyes Maroto.
AENOR's Chief Executive Officer, Rafael García Meiro, took part in one of the round tables with a contribution emphasising the fact that "digitisation needs society to be confident in it, to allow it to spread and generate competitiveness."
Similarly, during the course of the Congress several themed rooms were available to the attendees, including the AENOR room "Confidence in the Competitiveness of Digital Talent"; this space was used to tackle issues such as the role of confidence and knowledge in overcoming the digital gap; and standards for digitisation and Artificial Intelligence (IA) applied to information services.
AENOR has several certifications accrediting that organisations are moving forward correctly in their process of digitisation.
These include the certification of
Information Security, according to ISO standard 27001, and
Information Technology Service quality (IT), according to ISO standard 20000.
