28/02/2019

As part of the European Commission's Better Training for Safer Food programme, AENOR and the European Commission have organised the first seminar on Prevention, monitoring, and control of Antibacterial Resistance, in the context of the "One Health" approach in a nine-country region of South Africa: Botswana, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. The objective of this seminar is to support strategies for promoting the appropriate use of antimicrobials and controlling resistance in the fields of veterinary medicine, food safety, and public health. It is the first of a series of 11 seminars that will be held between 2019 and 2020 in countries in Africa, Latin America, Asia, and Europe.
