The company Saeta Yield, which was certified in 2018 under ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management) and OHSAS 18001:2007 (Health and Safety of Workers), has extended the scope of certifications to all its assets in Spain (power generation plants using thermosolar technology and power generation plants using wind technology).
The first certification acknowledges that Saeta Yield complies with the requirements laid down by the standard ISO 14001, and that it has implemented an environmental management system which contributes to preventing environmental impacts, by making use of the necessary means to avoid, reduce or control these, and always in balance with socio-economic rationality and committed to ongoing improvement.
By expanding the AENOR Environmental Management certification, the organisation conveys commitment to its stakeholders in a direct and credible way, it obtains financial benefits due to the optimisation of the consumption of energy, raw materials and water and due to improvements in processes and reduced legal risks.
The second is the AENOR Occupational Health and Safety certification, in accordance with standard OHSAS 18001, which acknowledges the implementation of an Occupational Health and Safety Management System that helps to prevent occupational risk, contributes to reducing work-related accidents and increases productivity. It also ensures compliance with legislation on prevention and it promotes a preventive culture through the integration of prevention into the general system of the company.
