The 4th edition of the Spanish Compliance Association's ASCOM 2020 Awards of were recently held remotely. Jesica Hita, Chief Compliance Auditor at AENOR, won the ASCOM 2020 Award for Best Compliance Officer in the Under 35's Category.
The aim of this award is, on the one hand, to contribute to the professionalisation and dissemination of the Compliance function in Spain, and on the other, to recognise those professionals, organisations and institutions that promote professionalisation, dissemination and consolidation of the Compliance function in Spain, including rigour, knowledge and expertise. The criteria taken into account by the panel to assess the candidates included the implementation of a Compliance function in the organisation that is aligned with best practices and the highest international standards in the field.
The award received by Jesica Hita recognises the career trajectory to date of this young professional, who has an accredited vocation for compliance, which she has known how to successfully develop, starting with consultancy functions and then moving on to compliance departments and taking advantage of the experience acquired to specialise in conformity assessment.
