AENOR wishes to express its deep regret at the loss of three human lives in a helicopter accident that took place on Sunday, 29 September, in the area of Puzol (Valencian Community). One of the three crew members was an inspector of Advanced Inspection Services (AIS), a division of the AENOR Group. All AENOR staff are shocked by the terrible event and express their most sincere condolences to the relatives, friends and partners of the deceased. Resources have been mobilised immediately to support the families to the extent possible.
The accident occurred while inspection work was being carried out on the power lines using AIS's cameras, which were installed on the helicopter.
