The 21st edition of the Ibero-American Quality Awards took place recently, at which 13 organisations from 8 Ibero-American countries participated. Andorra and Costa Rica participated for the first time at this year's awards.
The Ibero-American Quality Award is a project assigned to the Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government, coordinated by the Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB) and managed by Fundibeq. AENOR's CEO, Rafael García Meiro, is Chairman of Fundibeq's Board of Trustees
Despite the difficulties caused by the pandemic, the Award process was successfully undertaken by both the organisations and the assessment teams.
In accordance with the Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB), the awards are scheduled to be presented in their different categories during the 27th Ibero-American Summit, set to take place in Andorra in the second quarter of 2021.
