Castilla-La Mancha's Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros en Informática [Association of Information Technology Engineers] recently presented its Regional Information Technology Awards; AQCLab received the startup/innovative SME award for being the first laboratory with international accreditation to assess the quality of software and data products.

AENOR uses AQCLab, the only laboratory in Spain that is accredited by the Spanish National Accreditation Body (ENAC), to assess the quality of software applications within the ISO/IEC 25000 group of standards that focus on function maintainability and suitability (functionality). Software product quality certification with ISO/IEC 25000 enables companies that develop software to find out about the quality of their products and allows companies that purchase software to choose a solution based on their requirements.

AENOR has a comprehensive range of certifications that can help organisations to convert their projects into effective and efficient management units in the area of ICT.
