The ceremony for the 19th edition of the Latin American Quality Awards 2018 has recently been held in Antigua (Guatemala), co-organised by FUNDIBEQ and the Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB). The ceremony was chaired by His Majesty King Felipe VI, the Presidents of Guatemala, Honduras, Spain, Mexico, Principality of Andorra and the Vice-President of Colombia, Mrs. Rebeca Grynspan, Ibero-American Secretary-General, and hosted by Mr. Juan Luis Martín Cuesta, FUNDIBEQ's CEO. Likewise, the President of Fundibeq's Board of Trustees and AENOR's CEO, Rafael García Meiro, were also present at the awards ceremony.
SEGIB is an international organization that supports the 22 countries that make up the Ibero-American community: the 19 Latin American countries that speak Spanish and Portuguese, and those in the Iberian Peninsula - Spain, Portugal and Andorra. It helps organize Ibero-American Summits of Heads of State and Governments, checking compliance with their respective regulations and promoting Ibero-American cooperation in such areas as education, social cohesion and culture.
During the Business Meeting H.M. The King congratulated the awardees for their excellence in organisational management, for promoting optimum methods and encouraging creativity, innovation, transformation and managing change.
