Mapfre has achieved the "Business Continuity" certificate

21/12/2020

AENOR has awarded Mapfre with certification for Business continuity management system, according to the Standard UNE-EN ISO 22301.

The scope of this certificate covers the Information Security Operations Centre (COSI); the
management of access to buildings and offices; management of access to networks and applications; alarm and response management in buildings and offices; and monitoring and containment of events in MAPFRE networks and information systems.

The certification certifies that these areas have a business continuity management system that prepares them to recover operations within a previously established time period and to minimise the effects of adverse events.

It also provides a framework to increase the resilience of an organisation to any crisis situation, making it possible to provide an effective response and safeguard the interests of primary stakeholders and the organisation's main processes and critical activities.
