LafargeHolcim obtains a Road Safety certificate

AENOR recently issued LafargeHolcim with a Road Safety certificate, according to the ISO 39001. As a result, the company has become the first cement manufacturer to certify its Road Safety Management System in Spain with AENOR.

The certificate of Road Safety from AENOR. The main objective of this certificate is to help companies make their operations safer and reduce accident rates.

The commitment to road safety, promoted by management and led by the Road Traffic Safety Committee, has led LafargeHolcim Spain to put this management system in place with a specific policy, the key measures of which have consisted of installing in-vehicle monitoring systems (IVMS), collaborating with transport companies on theory and in-vehicle training (with the participation of over 1,200 drivers) or improving procedures of action to mitigate the risks associated with traffic accidents.
