On 3 July, the meeting "Transparency and Good Governance: statements of non-financial information", will be held in Madrid. It is being organized by the Spanish Association for Quality (AEC) and its goal is to provide an overview of the origin of the Commercial Code reform of 28 December.
The reform requires certain organizations to report non-financial information annually, i.e., environmental, social, and personnel data, and information on respect for human rights, the fight against corruption and bribery, and society.
During the conference, the first experiences of various organizations will be presented, both those that are obligatory, and then those that offer consulting and/or verification services.
AENOR will take part in the meeting as a verification body.
