AENOR has recently awarded IFEMA the Emergency Management Certificate, according to the UNE-EN ISO 22320 standard.
The UNE-ISO 22320 of Emergency Management applies to any type of public, private, governmental or non-profit organisation. This international standard stipulates requirements to respond effectively to incidents, including command and control, operational information, decision support, traceability, interoperability, information management, and coordination and cooperation within an organisation, among others.
The constant renovation of the security systems of its facilities is one of the areas to which IFEMA pays special attention, with the aim of ensuring adequate safety and quality to the 3.6 million visitors who come to its premises each year, and through which 700,000 vehicles circulate.
Pablo Corróns, Director of Sector Marketing and Product at AENOR, awarded the certificate to Eduardo López-Puertas, Chief Executive Officer of IFEMA.
