The heart surgery service at the Hospital Universitario de la Princesa has recently received the Quality Management System certificate, according to the standard
ISO 9001 for surgical procedures and beneficial heart surgery activities.
The certificate of
Quality Management System by AENOR is based on international standard ISO 9001, the most widespread quality management tool in the world, with more than a million certificates held across 201 countries. This certificate demonstrates the organisation's compliance with the UNE-EN ISO 9001 standard, and shows its commitment to ongoing improvement through the implementation of its Quality Management System.
