AENOR has awarded, for the third time, the EFQM 500+ European Seal of Excellence to Santander Spain; the highest level of recognition awarded by the Club Excelencia en Gestión, as an official representative in Spain of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), in recognition of its management model and the improvements to its customer experience.
The EFQM 500 + is the highest level of recognition awarded by the Excellence in Management Club. It recognizes organizations that successfully deploy a strategic plan aimed at excellence, and which attain the objectives set for leadership criteria, key results and people management.
Santander Spain obtains this recognition after passing a demanding and rigorous evaluation process by AENOR, in which more than 230 employees of the Network and Central Services participated. The evaluation report accredits the significant progress made by the bank in its management model (leadership, people, strategy, resources and processes), especially in the last two years. It also highlights the uniformity and commitment of the whole organisation to the mission, vision and values of Grupo Santander. The results of this evaluation are very satisfactory, given that Santander Spain has exceeded 650 points, increasing its score by 20% with respect to 2017.
