AENOR has recently awarded Emacsa the
Road Safety certificate, according to the
ISO 39001. thereby making it the first public water utility company in Spain to obtain this certificate.
Road Safety certificate from AENOR. The main objective of this certificate is to help companies make their operations safer and reduce accident rates. The long term objective is to reduce and ultimately eliminate the rate and risk of deaths and serious injuries caused by road traffic accidents, involving all public and private organisations that have an impact on road safety.
This standard is presented in the form of best practices for a road safety management system, basing its success on the commitment of all those who work in the organisation, or on behalf of it, from top management to operations staff.
Emacsa has also renewed its certificates for
Quality Management System (according to ISO 9001:2015), for the
Environmental Management System (according to ISO 14001:2015) and has obtained ISO 45001:2018 migration certification for
Occupational health and Safety Management Systems.
