The Utebo City Council awarded the ENS certificate

El City Council of Utebo has obtained the certificate of the National security scheme, the scheme which establishes security policy for the use of electronic media and outlines the basic principles and minimum requirements for adequate protection of information systems, services and information.

In addition to being an obligation for all Public Administrations covered by Royal Decree 3/2010, compliance with the National Security Scheme provides an appropriate framework for the proper protection of citizens' information managed by local government authorities. Thanks to this, the City Council of Utebo is the first municipality in Spain with less than 20,000 inhabitants to receive National Security Scheme certification (in addition to being the third town in Spain overall and the first in the province of Aragon).
