World Health Day takes place on 7 April in order to commemorate the anniversary of the World Health Organisation and to raise awareness in society with a view to encouraging actions that improve people's health throughout the world.
AENOR has a certificate for Healthy Workplace, that companies can use to prove that they are healthy places to work. This certification is based on the idea that "healthy workers make healthy companies" and can be used by firms to increase their productivity, ability to compete and sustainability.
Said certification enables companies to manage their workers' health, safety and wellbeing in a sustainable way and contribute to lowering healthcare and social security costs by helping to improve quality of life throughout society.
AENOR also has a range of food safety standards to help reduce food toxicity. All aspects of monitoring microbial levels in food consumed by humans and animals are essential for public health.
