Crédito y Caución has been committed to excellence based on continuous improvement for 25 years, offering transparency and soundness in its services

27/09/2024

Crédito y Caución received its first Quality Management System certificate, in accordance with ISO 9001, 25 years ago. To mark this anniversary, the company has organised a roundtable to analyse the competitive advantages that certification processes bring to companies. The panel was attended by the Director of AENOR in Madrid, Enrique Megía, the Director of the Pascual Quality Customer Service, Francisco Górriz, the partner of Auren, Eduardo Romero and the Director of Quality Management in Crédito y Caución, Carlos Jiménez.

One of the main conclusions of the meeting is the connection between the implementation of certified management systems and the ability to anticipate changes in the environment and context. This aspect is key and allows organisations to establish an appropriate control framework that guarantees the integrity and soundness of the services provided as a differentiating factor, and move forward in compliance with various requirements. Certification processes provide transparency, among other aspects, to business processes and stimulate changes that have a positive impact on the organisation, its commitment to continuous improvement and performance.

Crédito y Caución has always been at the forefront of the insurance sector in managing quality and information security certifications. In 1999, it was the first Spanish insurance company to obtain the ISO 9001. After certifying its commercial management in 2005, it became the first Spanish credit insurance operator with the quality mark in all its processes. From 2007, the procedures for preparing and issuing documents in electronic format were certified, and in 2016 it became the first Spanish insurer to adapt to the requirements of identifying potential risks faced by the company's operations, assessing their impact and planning their management. The latest certification obtained by the company, ISO/IEC 27001, guarantees information security in an increasingly digital environment, and is characterised by new business practices, such as remote work.
