AENOR certifies COVID-19 protocols in place at Dbus

06/08/2020

Dbus has certified its Certification of Protocols against COVID-19, which accredits the proper implementation and deployment of coronavirus safety and hygiene measures.

For this purpose, it has developed new protocols and implemented various preventive measures to guarantee the health and safety of its workers and users, including the daily cleaning and disinfection of the entire fleet and facilities, the installation of screens in the driver's space in all vehicles, informing staff and users about preventive measures and new procedures, delimitation of common spaces or the requirement for suppliers to comply with protection and safety measures.

The AENOR certification of Certification of Protocols against COVID-19 is an external endorsement of the effectiveness of the safety measures implemented by Dbus and that they comply with the guidelines established by the Ministry of Health. The audit assesses, among other aspects, the protocols of action against coronavirus and their compliance.

This new certification is in addition to the certification for Quality in Public Passenger Transport in accordance with UNE-EN 13816 which the San Sebastian-based company already has on three of its lines, covering approximately half of the users travelling on Dbus daily.
