10/07/2020

  • This mark certifies that company's COVID-19 protocols guarantee a safe return to activity and respect the criteria and recommendations of the health authorities.

10 July 2020. Sanitas' sales offices and work centres have been certified by AENOR with AENOR for their protocols against COVID-19, this demonstrating that the company rigorously complies with the appropriate protocols to deal with the spread of the virus. The AENOR certification is an external endorsement to support the effectiveness of safety measures implemented by the company and that it also complies with the guidelines established by the Ministry of Health on matters of COVID-19 prevention and hygiene.

The evaluation carried out by AENOR assesses aspects such as risk management, occupational health management, training/information and communications developed, organisational measures (capacity control, social distancing, screens, etc.), the protection measures (use of personal protective equipment), as well as good cleaning and hygiene practices.

"In Sanitas we have launched numerous protocols and measures that guarantee the safe opening of all our offices and centres. AENOR's certification confirms that in Sanitas we meet the highest safety standards so that our employees and customers are in safe places," says José Manuel Ochoa, Property Manager at Sanitas.

Prior to the alarm, Sanitas set up a committee made up of different areas of the company, where risks were analysed on a daily basis and solutions were sought to the different situations the company faced at different times of the crisis.

It has also established protocols that guarantee the safety of customers and employees, such as carrying out tests on all workers before they take up their position, the guarantee of physical distances necessary in the workplace, personal hygiene measures and common areas, capacity controls, and has provided its employees with the necessary PPE. On the other hand, it has adapted its facilities to provide greater security. Measures implemented in branches, to avoid contact in common areas, include the automatic opening of doors, sensor operated hydroalcoholic gel dispensers, and intelligent bathrooms.

Sanitas management model during the crisis has been focused since the start of the pandemic on offering solutions that would ensure the safety of employees and customers, while guaranteeing the continuity of its business.
