MOBILITY ADO, the first Latin American mobility company to obtain AENOR certification for its management of COVID-19

As part of the initiative "Muévete Tranquilo (move about with peace of mind)'" devoted to the responsible reactivation of mobility in Mexico, MOBILITY ADO has been awarded certification for its protocols against COVID-19 from AENOR, as a result of the measures implemented in response to the pandemic, which makes the first company in the Latin American passenger transport and mobility sector to be endorsed by an international organisation.


The certification process complies with the recommendations of world authorities and covers aspects such as risk management, occupational health management and good hygiene and cleaning practices; As well as organisational, protection and communication measures.


"Exceeding health and safety measures for the benefit of our passengers, collaborators and communities is a guiding principle for further progress. We have undertaken the commitment, speed and optimism to act in a comprehensive and effective manner. In AENOR we find the perfect partner to help us to respond to the needs and new challenges of the current reality," said Carlos Iraheta Borgo, Marketing and Commercial Director for Transporte Foráneo México, the long-distance transport division of MOBILITY ADO.


"During our 80-year trajectory, we have worked based on the continuous improvement of our processes and AENOR has generated confidence through its audits, which contribute value to our business continuity," the director highlighted. 


The auditors use a methodology based on the documentation of the practices and the requirements imposed for their correct application. They also used technology to facilitate the analysis and examination of the brands that make up the Mexican company.


According to Miguel Montesino Hernández, CEO of AENOR in Mexico, "knowledge management is vital in times of uncertainty. The situation requires a relevant role to address the emergency and MOBILITY ADO has demonstrated its capacity to respond to new normality and, in keeping with its values, is boosting the economy and providing a safe customer experience," he added.
