20 December 2019 -The Mutual Society of Engineers has obtained the certificate AENOR , accrediting that the company has implemented a Risk Management System for Crime Prevention in Organisations in compliance with the requirements of the standard UNE 19601. With this certification, La Mutua forms part of the pioneering group of companies in Spain to obtain this recognition from AENOR for its Criminal Compliance Management.
La Mutua is one of the first Spanish insurance companies to obtain certification in accordance with the national standard UNE 19601, thus accrediting that the company has accepted a commitment to prevent crime, reduce criminal risk, promote an ethical business culture and comply with the Law. This has given it a competitive advantage that sets it apart from other insurance companies.
Eva Subirá, director of AENOR in Catalonia, presented this certificate to Joan Munt, Chairman of La Mutua de los Ingenieros, at the insurance company's offices.
The insurance company has implemented a Crime Prevention Model that complies with the duties of supervision, surveillance and control in accordance with legal requirements. Thus, the insurance company's ethical business culture and respect for the law is reflected in all of the actions of its Governing and Management Bodies, senior management and employees.
