31 October 2019. The CEO of AENORRafael García Meiro, and the General Secretary and CEO of the the Management Excellence Club, Ignacio Babé, have awarded the European EFQM 300+ Seal of Excellence to the Real Madrid Foundation, in recognition of its process management excellence, its dedication to transparency and its ethical actions, all of which have built trust among its stakeholders.
The Seal, awarded to organizations that demonstrate excellence in management, which permits them to identify their current level of management and draw up a report on the management activities implemented and the results obtained, was presented to Emilio Butragueño, Director of Institutional Relations of the Real Madrid Foundation. The international certificate was created by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). It allows organizations to identify their key strengths and future challenges in order to fulfil their objectives.
Emilio Butragueño highlighted that "Real Madrid always seeks excellence in its activities and the Foundation, over its 20 years of history, has demonstrated that it shares the same clear objectives towards quality management as this International Seal certifies."
Rafael García Meiro, CEO of AENOR, stated that "AENOR is proud to collaborate with both the Foundation and with the Club, in applying tools that will help the Real Madrid Mark to become a world reference point in best practice and values. Several outstanding aspects were highlighted in the audit, such as the Foundation's strong focus on transparency and ethical action, which builds trust among its stakeholders."

According to the details of the Club Excellence in Management, the official representative in Spain of the EFQM, the Real Madrid Foundation is one of the 51 Spanish organizations holding a European Seal of Excellence EFQM 300+.
