The ”la Caixa” Banking Foundation receives the EFQM 500+ European Seal of Excellence for quality in management

• Within the framework of its 2016-2019 Strategic Plan, which boasts the slogan We change the present, we build the future, the ”la Caixa” Banking Foundation accomplished level 500+, the maximum quality distinction in management granted by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM).

• The company, which this year has a 520 million euro budget, promotes 50,000 initiatives each year, reaching 11 million people.

• The chairman of the Banking Foundation, Isidro Fainé, who accepted the award in Madrid, has said that: «Obtaining the EFQM 500+ recognises that excellence is a constant in all levels of management at the ”la Caixa” Banking Foundation and guides us in all of our actions».
