Jamones Airesano, first AENOR certificate in production of pork without antibiotics from weaning

This offers guarantees in a field that is increasingly of interest to consumers.

• It proves that animals are raised without using any kind of antibiotics from weaning to slaughter, guaranteeing the traceability and identification of the meat throughout the entire production line.

• In order to grant this certificate AENOR carries out an exhaustive audit process across livestock farming, feed factories, slaughterhouses, quartering and meat processing industries. In addition, a rigorous analytical inspection of water and fodder is included, guaranteeing the absence of treatment with antibiotics.
