25 June 2020. AENOR has obtained the AENOR anti-COVID-19 protocols certification, thus becoming the first group of sports, wellness and spa centres in Spain to obtain it.
The AENOR certification is an external endorsement to support the effectiveness of safety measures implemented by the company and that it also complies with the guidelines established by the Ministry of Health on matters of COVID-19 prevention and hygiene. Once the mark has been granted it is valid for a year, but must be monitored every three months.
The GO fit sports facilities have launched a plan of preventive health and safety measures for employees and customers. Among them, the use of air purification equipment equipped with HEPA filters, which allow the air to be maintained in optimum conditions with regard to viral and bacterial load, and renewing it throughout the centre every 7 minutes. Another noteworthy measure is the company's treatment of swimming pool water, which allows users to ensure safe physicochemical and microbiological parameters thanks to an electroporation system without chemical additives.
Ingesport has also implemented other preventive measures, such as temperature control checks of users entering the facilities, carpets treated with virucidal agent, safety screens, bag dispensers for belongings In the changing rooms, and the installation of cleaning stations at different points in centres with hydroalcoholic hand gel, approved spray product for the disinfection of machines, paper towels and waste paper bins. The assessment carried out by AENOR evaluates a range of aspects, such as risk management, occupational health and safety management (action protocols, antibody testing for all employees...) training, information and communication; organisational measures (control of capacity levels and safety distances in the sports areas...); protection (use of PPE), as well as good cleaning and hygiene practices, among other things.
