Hostelería Madrid and AENOR award the first Cénit Quality distinction

  • Cénit is the first award for Food Quality and Safety in Spain validated by AENOR and directed at establishments in the hospitality industry.
  • Medems Catering, a benchmark in haute cuisine in Madrid, is the first hospitality company to obtain the distinction, developed by Hostelería Madrid and AENOR.

20 February, 2019. The Hostelería Madrid association and AENOR have awarded the first Cénit distinction to Medems Catering. After a year of implementing this food quality and safety standard in their work processes, Medems Catering, a benchmark in haute cuisine in Madrid, have reached a milestone that will mark a before and after in their long history of gastronomy.

The Cénit distinction, which is celebrating a year since it was presented in the last edition of HIP, is the first Spanish Food Safety and Quality label validated by AENOR, aimed at establishments in the hospitality industry. Food Safety is not a future concept, rather one that is present in our daily lives, and which supposes a fundamental guarantee for the consumer.
