Fundesalud obtains the AENOR certificate, which validates its quality management processes

13 November 2018. The Foundation for the Training and Research of Healthcare Professionals of Extremadura (Fundesalud) has obtained the certificate awarded by AENOR in recognition and as evidence of its management system's compliance with the ISO 9001 standard.

The ISO 9001 Quality Certificate provides three key benefits: it improves processes and effectiveness in the provision of services; it achieves a greater involvement from professionals by obtaining a work that is well done and sustainable. It also leads to a stronger conviction in transmitting the commitment to quality to all the audiences of an organisation.

AENOR's Quality Certificate is based on the international standard ISO 9001, the most widely-used quality management tool in the world. It verifies that Fundesalud complies with the established requirements and has implemented a management system that strives for effectiveness, quality and constant improvement, in order to achieve excellence in the Foundation's services.

The certificate's scope includes the economic and administrative management of healthcare training for professionals of the sector in Extremadura; R&D and Innovation projects in the field of healthcare; clinical trials and observational studies in the field of healthcare; and the design and execution of calls to invite applications for regional grants to encourage R&D and Innovation in the field of healthcare.
