27/01/2020

  • It is one of the 122 Spanish companies that currently holds the EFQM 500+ European Seal of Excellence and one of the 16 that exceeds 550 points

27 January 2020.- The mobility operator ALSA has renewed the EFQM 500+ European Seal of Excellence that it obtained in 2018 with the highest level of recognition, which accredits that it is one of 122 Spanish companies that currently holds the EFQM 500+ Seal, and one of the small group of 16 companies that exceeds an assessment score of 550.

The Chairman of ALSA, Jorge Cosmen, received the certificate from Ignacio Babé, Secretary-General and CEO of the Excellence in Management Club, and Rafael García Meiro, CEO of AENORin the framework of the International Tourism Fair, FITUR 2020.

EFQM 500+ European Seal of Excellence distinguishes organisations, such as ALSA, that follow a strategy aimed at excellence and which have achieved their set objectives, and is awarded by CEG (the Spanish Excellence in Management Club) upon successfully passing an external assessment carried out in conjunction with AENOR.

EXCELLENCE IN LEADERSHIP

In addition to promoting continuous improvement and innovation as the essence of the EFQM Model, for ALSA, excellence in leadership implies the need to work not only towards the satisfaction of its customers, but also of the different interest groups with which the company interacts.

After the evaluation process, AENOR, ALSA improved its score with respect to the previous year, highlighting its commitment to consolidating itself as a sustainable, ethical and responsible company in its activities and a benchmark in the markets in which it operates. This orientation towards sustainable development and a culture of excellence have become strategic pillars of its business management and its commitment to society.

Once the enormous potential represented by the path of excellence and the EFQM Model has been recognised, for ALSA, the renewal of this seal represents a new stimulus to consolidate the work carried out so far and to continue improving in the coming years.
