31/01/2019

  • This certificate guarantees that the Navarre company, which supplies ready-to-eat fresh packaged vegetables, had implemented a corporate social responsibility management system, in accordance with international standard IQNet SR10.

31 January 2019. AENOR has granted Florette Social Responsibility certification, under international standard IQNet SR10. This certificate guarantees that the Navarre company, which supplies ready-to-eat fresh packaged vegetables, is growing and preparing its products according to a social responsibility management system that is in compliance with international standard IQNet SR10, in pursuit of continuous improvement. Florette has obtained the certification for its facilities in Navarre.

“We are proud to have this new AENOR certification, because it shows the responsible work of the 1,600 people who form the team at Florette. For us it is recognition and proof that Florette complies with the requirements of the system day in, day out”, remarked Clara Munilla, quality and social responsibility director at Florette.

The certification was bestowed this morning at Florette's facilities in Milagro, Navarre, where Clara Munilla, Pedro Fernández, chief financial officer and head of human resources, and Cástor Sola, of the corporate social responsibility and employer branding area, received the certification from Emilio Flamarique, AENOR's Naverre director, who stressed "Florette Ibérica's commitment to social responsibility and continuous improvement through obtaining the AENOR certification in accordance with standard IQNet SR10”.

IQNet SR10 is the first international standard for Social Responsibility Management Systems, and was developed by IQNet, the largest global certification network, whose Spanish member is AENOR. The AENOR Social Responsibility certificate is based on the above-mentioned standard and proves that Florette has implemented a management system dedicated to social responsibility, good governance and continuous improvement. Currently, 75 companies from 16 countries have this certificate.

Florette allocates 10% of its annual investment to its comprehensive social responsibility plan called the "Florette Commitment" to develop healthy eating actions that respect the social, economic and environmental setting of its areas of influence.

Among others certificates, it also has the Global G.A.P., a best practice quality protocol; LEAF, a quality protocol that promotes sustainable agriculture, and Florette Referencial, a food safety handbook to grow raw materials.
