UNE 179001 on quality in dental centres and services, sets forth requirements that must be met by the dental clinics in order to improve the quality of the service provided.
It has been drawn up under the leadership of the Ilustre Consejo General de Colegios de Odontólogos y Estomatólogos (General Council of Odontological and Stomatological Associations).
This Standard defines the quality requirements for a dental centre or clinic, including aspects related to the centre's organisation, its facilities and equipment, the training and qualifications of the professionals who work there, and the processes directly related to healthcare.
By acquiring AENOR Dental Clinic certification, centres and clinics can be identified and distinguished as facilities that provide quality dental services and that offer safety guarantees as regards patient health care.
