The EFR certificate, driven by the Másfamilia Foundation, and approved by the Ministry of Health, Consumer Affairs and Social Welfare, recognises organisations involved in creating a new work culture, implementing a management model that allows for a balance between professional and personal aspects, based on flexibility, respect and commitment.
AENOR assesses compliance with the requirements of the Family-Responsible Company (EFR) Model, including the design, implementation, evaluation, and continual improvement of the practices and measures aimed at fostering a work and personal life balance.
There are different versions of the EFR certificate (for Family Responsible Companies), including for SMEs, large companies and multinationals. They are all focused on improving competitiveness based on employee satisfaction, which also results in reduced absenteeism and staff turnover, and, by extension, withholds talent, thanks to greater quality of life for employees, professional projection and the generation of an appropriate work environment.
On an external level, this strengthens the corporate reputation of the organisation with administrations, the market, investors, the media, and society in general.
Once AENOR's auditing process has been completed, the organisation obtains the Certificate
efr for balance and equality, and the license to use the Mark logo
efr, that the Másfamilia Foundation issues.
