The EFR certificate, or work-life balance management model, promoted by the Másfamilia Foundation, and approved by the Ministry of Health, Consumer Affairs and Social Welfare, recognizes organizations involved in creating a new work culture by implementing a management model that allows for a balance between work and personal life, based on flexibility, respect and mutual commitment.
AENOR assesses compliance with the requirements of the EFR Model, including the design, implementation, evaluation, and continual improvement of the practices and measures aimed at fostering a work and personal life balance.
There are different versions of the EFR certificate for SMEs, large companies, and multinationals, all of which are intended to improve competitiveness based on employee satisfaction, helping to reduce absenteeism and staff turnover, and, consequently, to retain talent, thanks to an improved quality of life for staff, professional development, and the creation of a positive work climate.
Externally, it strengthens the company's corporate reputation in the eyes of government bodies, markets, investors, the media, and society in general.
Once AENOR's auditing process is complete, the organization obtains the EFR Certificate for balance and equality, and the licence to use the EFR seal issued by the Másfamilia Foundation.
