The AENOR N mark for low voltage electric wires certifies product compliance with electrical safety standards
AENOR's product certification contributes added value to products, differentiating them from other products, improving their choice by consumers and providing a gateway into multiple, demanding markets outside of Spain.
To certify these products, AENOR has been accredited by the National Accreditation Entity (ENAC).
The N Mark is the symbol of product quality and safety and is backed by an independent third-party entity. The AENOR N Mark logo is recognised by public and private customers, facilitating the sale of thousands of certified products around the world.
The N certification is not mandatory; the manufacturer subjects itself voluntarily to a complete examination of its product by independent entities and specialists, with the goal of objectively determining that the product meets the established quality and safety requirements.
Products that receive this mark undergo different assessments and controls to ensure their compliance with corresponding standards and with the specific certification system developed by AENOR for each product.
Electric cables, telecommunication cables, wires for electromagnetic coils and accessories:
Any product bearing the N Mark guarantees that it is safe for the public. Many customers and markets around the world already trust in our Mark
Everything is easier with the AENOR certification:
The process includes the following stages:
Perform an initial inspection of production centres to ensure they're properly equipped and that adequate controls are carried out during the manufacture.
Initial product testing in accredited laboratories according to applicable standards.
All products that hold the AENOR Mark undergo annual follow-ups, and the centres where they are manufactured are inspected at least once a year.
Once an organisation passes the certification process, it obtains:
