The AENOR N mark for low voltage electric wires certifies product compliance with electrical safety standards

AENOR's product certification contributes added value to products, differentiating them from other products, improving their choice by consumers and providing a gateway into multiple, demanding markets outside of Spain.

To certify these products, AENOR is accredited by the National Accreditation Entity (ENAC) with accreditation no. 1/C-PR275 (you can check the valid scope accredited on the website of ENAC).

Electric cables, telecommunication cables, wires for electromagnetic coils and accessories:

Cables of rated voltage ≤ 0.6/1 kV
Cables of rated voltage > 0.6/1 kV

Certification process

The process includes the following stages:

Perform an initial inspection of production centres to ensure they're properly equipped and that adequate controls are carried out during the manufacture.
Initial product testing in accredited laboratories according to applicable standards.
All products that hold the AENOR Mark undergo annual follow-ups, and the centres where they are manufactured are inspected at least once a year.
