This industry panel establishes the criteria for furniture environmental declarations
AENOR is the Administrator of the GlobalEPD Programme for verifying environmental product declarations (EPD), in accordance with Standards ISO 14025 and EN 15804.
The steel construction products panel covers furniture to be installed in offices, houses and other buildings.
This panel is currently inactive.
The panel has issued no Product Category Rules (PCR).
En virtud del bilateral agreement of mutual recognition with the International EPD SystemEnvironmental declarations can be submitted for verification under the bilateral International EPD System mutual recognition agreement, pursuant to the following PCRs:
Environdec PCR 2012:19 Other furniture used in offices and other furniture not elsewhere classified (under review), which basically covers all kinds of furniture except for chairs, wooden kitchen furniture, beds and mattresses and furniture parts
Environdec PCR 2009:02 Seats, which covers sofas, chairs, stools, etc.
