GlobalEPD Panel for mortar and ETICS

This sectorial panel establishes the criteria for the environmental declarations for mortars and external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS)

AENOR is the Administrator of the GlobalEPD Programme for verifying environmental product declarations (EPD) in accordance with Standards ISO 14025 and EN 15804.


This panel covers external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS)​for construction, and the following types of mortar:

  • Mortar for masonry

  • Mortar for the placement of ceramic tiles

  • Mortar for joints

  • Mortar for rendering and plastering

  • Mortar for waterproofing

  • Mortar for floor screeds and finishes

  • Mortar for repair work

  • Mortar for the passivation of framework and bonding primers

  • Mortar for grouting​
